Alexandra Kerry’s DUI Arrest
Alexandra Kerry, the eldest daughter of Senator John Kerry, who ran during the last presidential election, was reported being arrested on suspicion of DUI just before 1am on Thursday morning. However, there is only little truth to this.
Apparently the 36-year-old was pulled over by police in Hollywood for a traffic violation of an expired registration. She was then arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after refusing to take a breathalyzer test on the scene. It wasn’t until a later breathalyzer test revealed she was under the legal limit that she was released on $5,000 bail about three-and-half hours later. The test showed a 0.06 level of alcohol - the limit is 0.08.
A spokesperson confirmed the details, but neither Alexandra or John could be reached for a comment. However, spokeswoman Jodi Seth said that the senator supports his daughter but wouldn’t comment on the private matter any further.
This is just dumb! A story like this should have never been blown up like it has, as she should have just taken the breathalyzer test on the scene. If she had just proven the officers wrong by taking the test, they would have never had to arrest her, the family wouldn’t have had to deal with all the bad publicity, and it would have saved them $5,000.
It’s almost as if celebrities don’t know what’s going on with each other. They see others make mistakes, and then they go and do a lot of the same things. Maybe it’s something in the water there - it kills brain cells?
