Cheryl Cole Twitters Wedding Ring to Abate ‘Unhappy’ Marriage Rumors
In attempts to alleviate rumors that her marriage is on the rocks, Cheryl Cole released an image of her £160,000 wedding ring via her Twitter account. Along with the image of her wedding ring, Ms. Cole also stated that ‘Diamonds are forever’, using the popular cliche to support the notion that her marriage to Ashley Cole is far from doing poorly.
Ms. Cole, married to Ashley Cole, defender for the Chelsea football team, reportedly told friends that her marriage was fine, and that the rumors were false. She claimed that the couple are as happy as ever. The 26-year old confided in friends that she was currently, quite content with her situation and relationship.
Marriage rumors started to swirl after it was reported last year that the 28-year old Ashley had ‘allegedly’ cheated on his wife, prompting the current Tweet of Ms. Cole’s claiming the marriage is not in trouble, and never has been.
According to the X Factor star, the couple has never been closer as they have had to go through the struggle of getting Ashley back on his feet. The football star was injured a few weeks back and has been in recovery from that injury.
A friend close to the singer said that Cheryl had been nursing her husband back to health, and that it is evident they are more in love than ever. Tonight, Ms. Cole’s hopeful, Lloyd Daniels will sing Faith on the popular reality show, X Factor for their George Michael themed episode.
