Paul O’Grady Show Mourns Passing of Pup

The Paul O’Grady Show will feature a tribute tonight for the star’s dog who died recently at 14-years old. The shih tzu/bichon frise mix made regular appearances on the show, and next will Paul O’Grady has planned a tribute to Buster to be worked into one of next week’s airings.

The Channel 4 talk show, the Paul O’Grady show issued a statement via the shows website which states that the show’s crew and Mr. O’Grady himself are destroyed at the loss of such a fixture to their set, and that Buster has been sorely missed. It continues saying the dog led a happy, healthy life, and then explains that Mr. O’Grady will air the tribute episode on Monday’s episode.

Paul adds on the site that the fans have sent kind words expressing their condolences for the pooch, and that he realized many fans of the show will also miss the canine who regularly made appearances on the day time talk show.

Today’s episode for the show was previously recorded and will air as usual at 5 PM on Channel 4. Viewers can tune in next week to see the talk show host pay tribute to his 14-year old pup named Buster with the first airing of the episode scheduled for Monday at 5 PM.

I am so sorry to hear about Buster. What a remarkable dog he was and gave so much pleasure to all who have watched him over the years.

Having had many dogs myself, I can fully appreciate how Paul is feeling at the moment. I am feeling so sad for him but know what a wonderful life he gave to Buster and gives to all his other animals.

    Love and thoughts to him.

Take comfort with your other lovely pets and remember Buster fondly.
