Katie Price Quits after Winning 6th I’m A Celebrity Bush Tucker Trial
Katie Price finally got the chance to win one of the six bush tucker trials she’s been in on “I’m A Celebrity”. The glamour model has been chosen by voters for all of the trials since she has been on the show, making her do one every night she’s been in the jungle. This has put a strain on her - so much that she quit after finding out she was voted for a seventh.
After completing the Car-lamity trial, Katie was showing a little excitement, saying that she had fun. Just before this sixth trial, the hosts asked Katie how she was feeling, and she responded that she felt more deflated and just wanted to go home. She added that she was very unenthusiastic too. But she won eleven out of the twelve stars, meaning that both of the camps got food.
Being so happy about winning the trial and having fun while doing it, Katie thanked the viewers for finally making her do something fun. The part that she liked the most was having to ride through a car wash, which reminded her of how her kids would love all the slime. It was something she said she would do with them.
However, her triumph was short-lived, as at the end of the show she was told that the viewers voted for her to do another trial, which is called Bad Pit. She was suppose to do this one with retired boxer Joe Bugner, but said she wouldn’t. Then on Sunday night broadcaster ITV announced that she left the jungle and quit the show.
It’s true that Katie deserved a little punishment for her crazy antics during the divorce from Peter Andre, and she got that. However, no person should have to go through that much physical and emotional stress, especially when the media helped with all the hype during the divorce as well. It’s commendable that Katie went through as many trials as she did!
