Katie Price Splits from Alex Reid after Quitting I’m A Celebrity
In the latest happenings with Katie Price, it didn’t take long for her to break up with Alex Reid after walking out of the jungle on “I’m A Celebrity” Sunday night. The cagefighter boyfriend had just flown thousands of miles to see and propose to her, only for her to dump him in her hotel room, telling him that she was tired of him making money off her. Sources also say that he was devastated.
Katie was greeted by friend Michelle Heaton as she was leaving the jungle. When the glamour model asked about the latest gossip, her friend told her about Alex showing up to propose. Katie asked Michelle for her advice as a friend of what to do, and her response was to get rid of him. Then, an hour before she was suppose to have the interview is when she told him that it was over.
During the interview, she told the show’s presenters Ant and Dec that she did a lot of reflecting on her past during the week she was in Australia and realized that it was best if she wasn’t involved in a relationship with anyone. She even confessed to viewers that she has been acting horrible since her divorce from Peter Andre, but said that she has become a better person and apologized to them for her behavior. Then when Ant and Dec asked Katie if she was still seeing Alex, she told them no.
Although it may seem like announcing the breakup during the interview is part of a plot for more drama, it is very plausible that Katie is only trying to prove to viewers that she really isn’t what they have witnessed over the last 7 months. This is, of course, if her claims are true that she is a better person. Simply saying it is not going to prove anything…she will have to live it!
