Dancing with the Stars Season 9 Winner

Season 9 of “Dancing with the Stars” has come to an end with the airing of its finale episode, for which it was announced that Donny Osmond is this season’s King. Also during the finale, the audience was treated to a performance by Whitney Houston, who looked and sounded good.

Donny was surprised to have been chosen the winner, but he wowed both the judges and audience alike with is Tango. He and his professional dance partner Kym Johnson were last to perform their final dance, but they scored a total of 30 points to take the Mirror Ball Trophy.

The first couple to perform their last dance for the season was Kelly Osbourne and her professional dance partner Louis van Amstel. They chose the Viennanese Waltz for their final dance and received a total of 26 points. Mya and professional dance partner Dmitri Chaplin performed second, dancing the Jive. They scored 28 points total, which put them in second place and Kelly and Louis in third.

All of the couples performed three dances on Monday night, during which Kelly fell during the Freestyle. However, she still kept her energy up and impressed the judges - something that she did throughout the entire competition.

Mya had been considered the most naturally talented dancer in the competition, and she was also the highest scorer during the season. Some fans were, no doubt, a little disappointed that she didn’t win. Donny proved to be able to dance, and there’s no doubt his fans kept him in the competition, which made it possible for him to win the trophy.
