Taylor Lautner for SNL Host
It was fitting for Taylor Swift to host “Saturday Night Live” after receiving so much attention with the Kanye West thing at the Video Music Awards. So it is now only fitting that, with the release of “New Moon”, her rumored boyfriend Taylor Lautner, who plays wolf Jacob Black in the film, host the show as well.
The “Twilight” star - one of three - will be hosting the show on December 12, but he will not be alone. He will be accompanied by Bon Jovi, who will be the musical guest for the night. It will be interesting to see the skits that he takes part in, as it was only a few weeks ago that Taylor Swift took part in a “Twilight” spoof, which was funny whether you’re a fan of the series or not. Everyone is hoping Lautner will at least acknowledge Swift while on stage.
Most recently, Lautner has been featured in the newest issue of Rolling Stone magazine, which hit stands yesterday. The issue promises to reveal his physical history, humility on international fame, that he’s a hard worker, as well as that he has never done drugs of any kind, nor has he been drunk. He also talks about working with Swift on “Valentine’s Day”.
Meanwhile, Rihanna has been set to be the musical guest with “Gossip Girl’s” Blake Lively on December 5 for the show. Another new name on the host list for “SNL” is James Franco, who will host with Muse as musical performers on December 19.
