X Factor Olly Murs Fancies Stacey Solomon
It isn’t much of a surprise to find out that Olly Murs fancies Stacey Solomon, as they both have very happy personalities. The two have definitely formed a close bond while living in the “X Factor” house, and rumors have been flying that the two are romantically involved. However, Olly has spoken out against the romance rumors to insist there’s nothing going on between them.
Although he has denied the rumors though, Olly did admit that he wants to date Stacey. However, he said that this wouldn’t happen while they are competing. Since both of the contestants went to the same clubs in Essex, Olly says that they were both surprised that they had never met before. He said that if he had met her in public something may have happened, but not on the show.
Dannii Minogue, his mentor and a judge on the reality competition show, backed his denial of a romance with Stacey. She tweeted a stern NO to fans asking about their relationship. This is, no doubt, a disappointment for fans of the two, as they thought they had witnessed a real love story on television.
However, Olly does admit that he and Stacey are very close, saying that they love each other as friends. He even admitted to them hugging, but says it’s because they get along great since they are both down to earth. Although she’s an attractive girl, he added, he only sees her as a friend right now.
For now Olly is focusing on winning the competition, which is good to hear for Simon Cowell, who banned relationships between the contestants. He is competing against 3 other contestants, including Stacey, this week for a place in the final. He says he’s keeping his fingers crossed and notes that it’s amazing he will be earning more than £100,000 for doing the show’s tour, as he still lives with his parents and has a hard time getting £200-£300 in his bank balance. It’s just amazing, he exclaimed.
