Hasselhoff Released from Hospital, Bach Arrested for DUI
David Hasselhoff was reportedly taken to a psych ward over the weekend, while his ex-wife, Pamela Bach, was arrested for DUI. Both have been released since.
The nature of Hasselhoff’s illness hasn’t been confirmed yet, although it was reported to be due to a seizure, but attorney Mel Goldsman says that he has been released from the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after staying for two days. He adds that the actor is now home and doing fine.
However, Pamela’s weekend woes turned out a little worse. She was arrested on Saturday night on DUI charges while traveling in Los Angeles. She was taken to Van Nuys jail by highway patrol and later released on her own recognizance. Her publicist says that there was no bail posted, and she was picked up by a friend and taken home.
It’s been reported that Pamela has been arrested for DUI before, while she is also being sued for the incident that happened in March. Mitchell Paulson is claiming that Pamela was driving under the influence of alcohol when she hit him on the road, injuring him. Pamela plead no contest to the charge and was put on probation. Due to the repeated offense and violating her probation, it is likely she will be put in jail. Her next appearance in court is set for December 24.
In a statement while going to an AA meeting, Bach said that she is going through a hard time with Hasselhoff being in the hospital and dealing with their divorce. During their 16-year marriage, the couple had two daughters together - 17-year-old Hayley and 19-year-old Taylor.
