Liam Gallagher says No to Reunion with Noel

Liam Gallagher has put a damper on many Oasis fans’ dreams, saying that there’s no way he and his brother Noel will reunite - not even for the band. It appears the band’s frontman is still mad about the last fight the two of them had, which ended with Noel walking away from the band just before a performance in August.

During an interview, Liam said that he’s sure Noel is thinking that he will be able to rejoin the group if his solo career doesn’t pan out. However, Liam says he won’t fall for that, as he will be busy every time his brother calls. Despite the hard feelings, Liam says that he doesn’t harbor any animosity towards Noel and wishes him the best, adding how much he loves his brother.

And fans can be a little excited about the part where Liam talks about getting the other bandmates, Gem Archer and Andy Bell, together to form a new group and record a new album. He says that the new group has some studio time booked for after the holidays, and they’re going to do a quick album.

He’s feeling really confident about it, though they don’t have a name for the group yet. They are still thinking of names, but nothing is sticking, he added, so the band may end up being called Oasis again. He says that people will probably say “It’s not Oasis without Noel”, but they will just have to wait and see what happens. They are concentrating on writing the music right now, he added.
