Last four battle it out for a place in X Factor final
Stacey Solomon managed to put the two falls she suffered during rehearsals last week as well a tooth infection well and truly behind her as she took to the X Factor stage to try and secure her place in the shows final next week. This week’s theme was Michael Jackson and Stacey chose to sing The Way You Make Me Feel as her first number of the night. Although she managed to pull of a performance which saw her walking across chairs Simon Cowell was less that impressed saying that it was cabaret and that all the moving about had distracted from her vocals. However hers second song put her well and truly back in with a chance. She sang the West Side Story hit, Somewhere and all of the judges were blown away. Cowell said she was back in the game and Louis Walsh said he was impressed that she had manage to conquer such a big song.
The three boys also managed to impress the judges. Danyl Johnson was praised for his version of Man In The Mirror but managed to confuse the judges with a video of a Polar Bear playing behind him. It was agreed by all of the judges that Olly Murs deserved his place in the final after singing Can You Feel It by the Jackson 5. Joe McElderry sand She’s Out Of My Life, a performance which made Simon Cowell declare that it was one of the best versions of the song he had ever heard.
