X Factor Finalist to be Axed on Saturday

Bosses of reality competition series “X Factor” have given the show a little twist for the final on Saturday night, announcing that they will cut one of the three from the competition before Sunday night’s winner announcement. There have been only a few reports about this happening, but it has been confirmed that Olly Murs, Stacey Solomon or Joe McElderry will be eliminated before the winner is announced on Sunday.

Show bosses have decided to throw the voting lines open for viewers to give their last opinion on the remaining three. The one with the least amount of votes will, of course, be cut from the rest of the competition. An insider reported that the finalists were shocked by the news.

During the final performances, though, Olly is set to perform a duet with Robbie Williams, while Stacey will perform with Michael Buble and Joe will perform with George Michael. Plus, the three of them will perform a Christmas song for the judges panel.

Then on Sunday, the final two contestants will battle head-to-head, for which the viewers will vote on again to decide the winner. Viewers have complained a lot this year about the show being split over two days, with performances on Saturday and results on Sunday, but at least they will get to find out who wins right after it happens this time.

All three of the remaining contestants have people pulling for them, but it seems that Olly is the least favorite among them. So Stacey and Joe may end up being the final two, while we hope the single mom takes it all!
