Elin Plans to Stay with Tiger Woods for Kids

In the newest edition of People magazine, which hits newsstands today, it is reported that Elin Nordegren has chosen to stay with Tiger Woods, despite his 13 alleged affairs. A close friend of hers has revealed that she doesn’t want to become part of the increasing divorce statistic, as her parents split up when she was just six. They add that getting a divorce isn’t something that Elin wants to do to her children - 2-year-old Sam and 10-month-old Charlie - as she really believes that it’s important for parents to stay together.

Woods and Elin got married in 2004, and he hasn’t been the faithful husband everyone would want to believe. Since crashing his car into a fire hydrant and tree just outside his Florida estate a couple weeks ago, the media has revealed over a dozen mistresses - many of which were from an escort service.

Despite the cheating and earlier reports that she was going to leave him, it appears that Elin will actually stay - for the sake of their kids. A source tells People that Woods actually told her everything, though everyone thinks that she found out through the media. Nothing that’s been reported is a surprise to her, the insider continued, and they have talked about it a lot. The source added that Elin has been devastated by how many women he cheated with, and they are just getting everything in the open now.

Meanwhile, another source has made claims that Elin and Woods plan to leave the US for a private island closer to her family. The family is just as devastated as she is, but they want the two of them to work it out for the sake of their children, the source added.
