Former Playboy Model Faints at Court Hearing
Ex-Playboy model, Louise Glover fainted while hearing her guilty verdict in court today. Ms. Glover was found guilty after assaulting someone in a Brighton nightclub bathroom. The woman, whom Ms. Glover believed was trying to flirt with her husband, is named Maxine Hardcastle.
During her sentencing hearing, 26-year old Ms. Glover collapsed on the floor upon hearing the guilty verdict handed down by Hove Crown Court. Upon regaining her composure, Ms Glover cried out and began to verbally assault Justice Charles Kemp prompting him to order her to calm down.
The victim of Louise Glover’s attack, Maxine Hardcastle, sustained severe bruising to her face and was reportedly covered in blood after the attack. Ms. Hardcastle is the daughter of Paul Hardcastle who earned fame with his hit song “19″ which was a hit dance song inspired by Vietnam receiving widespread popularity in the 1980’s.
At the hearing the model was informed that the judge would consider all possibilities which could include jail time. The former model is expected to be sentenced officially on February 4. The jury was out for around an hour before returning to the courtroom with a guilty sentence.
Ms. Glover was found guilty of assault causing bodily harm, and during the trial jurors heard testimony about how the ex-model used the rim of a toilet seat in the washroom to strike Ms. Hardcastle’s head at least ten times. The malicious assault left Ms. Hardcastle bruised, bloody, and with some hair missing.
During the court proceedings it came to be known that Ms. Glover believed Ms. Hardcastle was trying to seduce her husband at the nightclub in Brighton. Ms. Glover attempted to say that she was simply defending herself. Her and her husband are now estranged.
