Kerry Katona mentally unfit to enter Big Brother House

Troubled celebrity Kerry Katona has been told that she will not be able to enter the final ever series of Celebrity Big Brother in January because she has failed to pass a psychological evaluation. Katona was said to be over the moon about passing the initial interviews with Channel 4 to enter the house. She and her mother both face losing their houses in the New Year because she has been unable to keep up repayments. The £250,000 pay check she allegedly would have received for entering the Big Brother House would have been extremely useful. A close friend of the twenty-nine-year-old said that Katona was devastated by being pronounced unfit to appear. An insider at Channel 4 said that Katona would have been a great addition to the show’s line-up and would have helped to boost the shows ratings. However Channel 4 cannot risk having her have a meltdown live on the show.

Boy George had also been planning to make an appearance in the house but was told by the High Court that because he was still under licence for attacking a rent boy earlier in the year it would not be a good for the legal system if he was allowed to appear. Lawyers for the prosecution services said that it would be out of order for him to earn a substantial amount of cash whilst still serving the terms of his sentence. The singer has since said that perhaps the decision is the right one as he had always been in two minds as to whether to enter the Big Brother House or not.
