Judge Allows Sheen to Visit Brooke in Hospital
Charlie Sheen’s estranged wife, Brooke Mueller, is being treated in an hospital in Los Angeles after having emergency oral surgery. Reports early on Wednesday noted that the “Two and a Half Men” star visited his wife in ICU despite a court order for him to stay away.
However, the restraining order isn’t in affect fully just yet. Charlie and Brooke were suppose to meet in court for a decision on the order, but a judge postponed the hearing until Friday due to the medical emergency.
Brooke’s lawyer, Yale Galanter, confirmed that her client is suffering from pneumonia, but noted that the prognosis is good. However, it wasn’t until after this statement that they found Brooke’s condition was worse than first thought. Galanter said that the infection was due to the oral tooth extraction she underwent earlier this week.
The doctors are pumping her full of antibiotics, but it’s expected that she will have to stay in the hospital for several days, as the pneumonia has spread to both of her lungs, according to Brooke’s mother, Moira Fiore. After finding out all of this, both Brooke and Charlie’s lawyers have requested the hearing be moved to February 8, while the DA agreed to allow him to be with her in the hospital.
Charlie visited Brooke yesterday afternoon, which was the first time they had seen each other since their fight on Christmas morning. In a statement to press, he said that she is doing fine, is getting better and will be out soon. When asked about the court hearing, he said that he doesn’t even want to think about it, as Brooke’s health is what’s most important right now.
