2010 NME Awards Nominees
The NME Awards are being dominated by the Arctic Monkeys this year, as they have a total of 6 nominations. Close behind them is Kasabian with 5, and the two bands will go head to head for their honors, which include Best British Band, Best Live Band, Best Album, Best Video, as well as a new award that recognizes the bands’ generosity to fans.
They aren’t alone though, as Muse is up for 4 and, despite being split, Oasis has been nominated for 3 awards. The ceremony is set for February 24 at Brixton Academy in London, with Annie Mac said to be hosting. Below is a full list of the nominees, whom people can vote for on the NME website:
