Lady Gaga Wins Big at BRIT Awards
Lady Gaga had a big night at the BRIT Awards on Tuesday, which was held at Earl’s Court in London. The 30th year of the event was very memorable for everyone, but there is much to remember for the new Pop Diva.
Gaga was awarded with 3 trophies during the event, one for each category she was nominated for, and she also became the first international artist to win that many in 5 years. After being announced the winner of the third award (International Album), she told the crowd that she was happy with winning the first two, but this awards means even more, because she worked on it so hard, for so long. Then she thanked her fans for believing in her.
During the event, there were tons of performances from the greatest artists, including Gaga of course. (She would never miss the opportunity to perform.) She did an acoustic version of Telephone, which is one of the singles from her new album The Fame Monster. After singing just a few lines, she told the audience that her performance was for Alexander McQueen, the fashion designer who just died last week.
