Andrew Koenig from Growing Pains Goes Missing in Canada

Andrew Koenig, the actor who played the role of Richard ‘Boner’ Stabone, the friend of Mike Seaver, in the 1980s television program Growing Pains, has been reported missing in Canada. The 41-year-old was last seen at a bakery in Stanley Park on Valentine’s Day, as he enjoyed walking there, according to authorities.

The actor was planning to go home last Tuesday (February 16), but police were notified that he was missing on Thursday (February 18) when he didn’t show up. Koenig’s family revealed that he had been severely depressed lately, and they are worried about if anything has happened to him. Even producer-director Lance Miccio showed some concern after the actor turned down a job two weeks ago, saying that he didn’t want to work anymore.

Koening is a resident of California and was visiting friends in Vancouver, where he use to live. While he was there he stayed with burlesque dancer Jenny Magenta. She expressed her concern over her friend’s safety via Facebook after finding out he hadn’t returned home.

The actor’s parents, Judy and Walter, say that the last time they talked to their son was a couple weeks ago on February 9. They also found out that the last time his mobile phone was used was to receive a text message on February 16. However, it’s been turned off since.

Police want anyone with information about Koenig to call 911. Danielle, his sister, says that any information will be helpful. They said that he is 5 foot 5 inches, weighs 135 pounds, has brown eyes, and his hair is shoulder-length.
