ESPN Suspends Tony Kornheiser for Comments about Fellow Anchor Hannah Storm

Tony Kornheiser, the co-host of Pardon the Interruption on ESPN, has been suspended after criticizing the way his fellow anchor, Hannah Storm, was dressed. The 67-year-old’s suspension is set to last for 2 weeks.

ESPN executive vice president John Skipper said that Tony’s comments about Hannah’s outfit were very inappropriate. Personal and hurtful comments like these are unacceptable and have big consequences, he continued, adding that Hannah is a respected co-worker who has been an integral part of SportCenter’s success.

Tony is known for severely critical and sarcastic comments. He said that Hannah, who is 47, looked like a Holden Caulfield fantasy, wearing a skirt he called too short for someone in their 40s or possibly their early 50s by now. He continued, saying that she looked like she had a casing for sausage wrapped around her upper body.

He didn’t stop there though, he continued by saying that he knows Hannah is very good, and he’s not suppose to make critical comments of the network….but….come on now. Then he asked what she was doing.

Tony apologized for the comments on his radio show the next day. He said that he is a subversive, sarcastic guy. Then he described himself as a troll, continuing that he has no right to insult what anyone looks like or what they wear. He added that this should go without saying.

Well, the outfit sure looked like something she would wear, and although it wasn’t the most flattering, Tony could have waited until they were off the air to criticize it. This is simply a case where a trait that makes someone so successful gets them in trouble.

Good for kornheiser! He’s the man and he’s right! Forget about how she looks, shes a terrible sports anchor. Her and that massive douche Josh Elliott. Scrap em and start over!
