Osmond son, Michael Blosil, Commits Suicide

On Sunday, police said that the death of Marie Osmand’s son, 18-year-old Michael Blosil, has been classified as a suicide, jumping to his death. Karen Rayner, a spokeswoman for the LA Police Department, said that she couldn’t release anymore info, as the death is being handled by the LA County coroner’s office. The office was a dead-end as well, saying that the case is on security hold and no other information would be released yet.

The spokesman for the family confirmed the young man’s death on Saturday. In a statement released through him, Osmond said that she and her family are devastated and deeply shocked by the tragic loss of their Michael. They ask that everyone respect their privacy as they cope with this.

According to reports, Michael was suppose to meet a woman on Friday night, but she received a text just before 9pm, telling her that he she would find a note waiting for her at his apartment. The unidentified woman lives in his apartment building, so she walked over to his place, his roommates let her in and she found the note.

Inside the note, Michael told the woman that she was his closest friend in LA, while he also told her that he had been depressed. There was no mention of suicide, but he did list things he would do for the last time. His roommates obviously had no clue about what was happening, but they started to get worried after the woman read the note. It was only minutes later that they all heard sirens coming from outside and saw emergency vehicles on the street below.
