Autopsy on Marie Osmond’s Son is Inconclusive
Michael Blosil’s autopsy results have been ruled inconclusive. The 18-year-old son of Marie Osmond was found dead on Friday after jumping from his 8th floor LA apartment to his death. It’s not yet known if the young man had alcohol or drugs in his system, as the toxicology tests won’t reveal results for another month or so.
According to sources, coroner’s officials are now interviewing Michael’s family members to find out whey he jumped. They already know that he had just been in and out of rehab and was suffering from depression.
Before jumping from the apartment, Michael sent a text message and wrote a note for a female friend, whom he was suppose to meet that night and also lived in the same building. After getting the message and reading the note, she and his roommates heard sirens and then put together what was going on. In the note, he had listed some of the things he would do for the last time, as he couldn’t live with his depression anymore.
Marie Osmond has 8 children - 5 of which are adopted. In a statement released through her spokesman, she said that she and the family are devastated and deeply shocked by the tragic loss. She also asked everyone to respect their privacy while they cope.
Michael was a first-year student at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in LA and was majoring in apparel manufacturing. His mother knew about his issues and visited him often. A friend of the family said that Osmond thought Michael was doing better and couldn’t believe that he committed suicide. The friend added that the family is together and doing the best they can to understand and make sense of the tragedy.
