Eclipse Teaser Trailer Released
Summit Entertainment has been making Twilight fans wait for months to see a glimpse of the next film in the saga, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The second film, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, was released last November, and Twihards have been craving to see pieces of the next film since its release was announced. The time has finally come though.
However, this is a bitter sweet thing, as the teaser trailer is just that….very teasing. They only show a 11 second glimpse into the tension building up between Edward, Bella and Jacob. All hope isn’t lost though, because a full trailer is rumored to be released today (Thursday).
The teaser trailer starts out showing Bella and Edward standing in their meadow, then flips over to them lying in bed together. He tells her that he knows the consequences of the choice that she’s making, which can only refer to her wanting to become a vampire, but Edward making her marry him first. Then it flips again to a scene with Bella and Jacob, him telling her that he will fight for her until her heart stops beating.
The second film in the saga was definitely not a favorite of critics or people who didn’t read the books - yet the second book wasn’t a favorite for many fans either - as it lacked the Edward factor. However, the third installment does feature a lot more action, which will probably be more appreciated by guys - especially with Victoria coming back into the picture. The film is set for a theater release on June 30 this year, so there’s only a little over 3 months left to wait!
