Live Your Best Life Walk with Jennifer Hudson and Weight Watchers
Jennifer Hudson, Weight Watchers’s most recent celebrity spokesperson, will lead the O, the Oprah Magazine Live Your Best Life Walk in New York City on 9 May. The Oscar-award winning actress, who recently dropped a significant amount of weight using the popular diet plan, will participate alongside thousandsĀ on the walk.
Proceeds from the Live Your Best Life Walk will be donated to ten unique charities. Oprah Winfrey, and longtime friend Gayle King, will also be in attendance at the walk, sponsored by Weight Watchers and Oprah’s popular magazine, O.
Ms Hudson announced back in April her use of the Weight Watchers diet programme to shed excess weight after giving birth to her son. The songstress and film star told consumers that healthy eating along with exercise had helped her lead a moreĀ fulfilling lifestyle. According to the actress, her participation in the Live Your Best Life Walk is just another part of her commitment to showcase the benefits of healthy living.
Editor in Chief at WeightWatchers.com, Theresa DiMasi, said the Live Your Best Life Walk makes sense as a partner for Weight Watchers. Ms DiMasi said that not only does the walk promote healthy living, it also supports several charitable causes.
Weight Watchers also sponsors its own Walk-It Challenge, which encourages programme participants to complete a five kilomtre walk. The Walk-It Challenge connects various diet plan users with their peers to encourage and train together. The programme culminates in a Walk-It Day, which this year will take place on 6 June.
