The new location was announced by Liberty Investment Company, which is Budget’s master franchisee in the United Arab Emirates. The franchisee continues to implement its expansion for the car rental company across the nation.
Budget Rent a Car senior general manager for the UAE, Salim Damji said that the company’s successful bid to buy strategic space at Skypark Plaza is a huge development that will greatly contribute to boosting their revenues in Abu Dhabi. They anticipate a 25% growth in business this year due to this move, he continued.
Damji also said that the UAE capital is a key focus area, which is driven by the amount of growth seen through the region, as well as the rush of projects like the island developments, the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Masdar zero-carbon City, Guggenheim Museum and the Yas Marina F1 Circuit.
