Big Brother: Caoimhe Wins Save and Replace Challenge
Earlier this week, the Big Brother housemates nominated each other again to face the public vote for this week’s eviction. Caoimha, Ife and Croin got the most votes and then participated in the ‘Save and Replace’ task yesterday afternoon. They were made to compete in duels, where they had to shoot a paintball gun at a target that their opponent was wearing on their chest.
The sheriff to oversee the duels was chosen as Steve. He was made to check each of the girls’ targets, and joked that any role like this couldn’t be a bad thing.
First up were Corin and Caoimhe, who laughed as they started to take their three steps from each other. After checking the targets, Steve announced Caoimhe as the winner of the first point, with her shot just brushing Corin’s target. Then Caoimhe had to duel with Ife, and neither scored a point. Since Ife and Corin didn’t hit each other in the next duel either, this left Caoimhe with the only and winning point.
After Steve confirmed the results, Caoimhe was announced the winner by Big Brother, who then made her choose who would replace her in the public vote. She tried to avoid the decision for a little while by going for a smoke, but Big Brother called her back.
Caoimhe reluctantly decided to put someone up that she didn’t think would get voted out. Then she traded her photo for Mario’s on the housemate board, putting him up for eviction. She told him that she was sorry and hugged him, but he said that he knew she would pick him, as Shabby did it too. Dave and John James comforted Caoimhe as she burst into tears.
