Enterprise Launches Youth Media Recruitment Campaign
Enterprise Rent-A-Car, the leading worldwide car hire group, has revealed a new application that is aimed at recruiting graduates. They have created this app with the help of leading independent youth media networking group Youth Media.
This new application has been placed on the networking group’s dedicated and ultra-modern YouthWire Desktop Platform, which is used on PCs in the libraries of colleges and universities, as well as in many other study areas, across the UK. The app gives details of Enterprise’s company background, culture and opportunities for jobs. It has the capacity to reach more than 650,000 students attending 34 universities that use the YouthWire network. This means that graduates will be able to browse and apply to the car hire company for job vacancies.
Right now, Youth Media is the only media network that is used on computers at colleges and universities. The solutions featured on their desktop platform have been endorsed by these academic institutions, of which there are 200. This means that Youth Media products are used by about 2.5 million students between the ages of 14 and 25. The network also operates applications for many other leading companies, including Microsoft, JP Morgan, Royal Bank of Scotland and the Army.
Youth Media director Justin Smith said that companies know they need to review the market to find the best candidates, as reports show that, for every vacancy, 70 UK graduates apply for the job. Being able to use this application on their platform has given Enterprise Rent-A-Car a head start on doing this, he added.
