It has only been 4 months since Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes finalized their divorce in March. Immediately after they announced the split, she took her 6-year-old son, Joe, and 9-year-old daughter, Mia, to Mexico. Upon returning home, she threw herself into work, filming Mildred Pierce, an HBO mini-series.
However, it’s been reported that she has started to move on. Tabloids are saying that she is dating Burberry model Louis Dowler. Although a dating relationship hasn’t been confirmed, it’s certain that the two have been spending a lot of time together.
Kate and Louis are said to have been introduced by friends at a dinner party. According to news sources, the two have been on a lot of dates since then, with some reports saying that they are inseparable and really enjoy each other’s company. Louis is a great guy with a good sense of humor, the source continued, describing that he loves to surf and is very down-to-earth. He’s no a typical model in that he’s big-headed, they added, but he’s good looking and gets a lot of attention when he’s out.
Kate is currently filming in Rome, but is based in New York, while Louis is based in London. It’s a juggle to keep up with each other. They did get to see one another in New York while Louis was on a fashion shoot, but this was several weeks ago.
It seems like they want to keep their relationship quiet for the time being. The insider said that they have been desperate to hide their relationship, so they’ve kept their meetings low-key.
