Posh Shaken by British Airways Emergency Landing
It’s been reported that Victoria Beckham (aka Posh Spice) was terrified after her flight from London to Los Angeles with British Airways was made to make an emergency landing. The jet was over an hour into the journey when it had to turn around to Heathrow Airport due to a fuel system fault.
A friend says that Victoria was traveling alone, so the incident was frightening, while she also didn’t have anyone to turn to for comfort. She was looking forward to getting home and seeing her family, so she was shook up and upset about not being able to get home, they continued.
The friend noted that Victoria always puts her family first, so she thought about them the entire time during the return to London. The star is married to David Beckham, the English footballer, whom she has 3 children with - 11-year-old Brooklyn, 7-year-old Romeo and 5-year-old Cruz. It was more than an hour before she got back to the London airport safely, they added.
After landing at Heathrow, Victoria and the other passengers had to wait a while before they were put on another British Airways flight to the US. An airline spokesman says that they apologize to the passengers for having to return to London. The plane had a minor fault after takeoff, and the pilot made the decision to turn around as a precaution, he explained. No one on board was ever at risk, he added, as safety is their top priority and will never be compromised.
