X Factor Contestant Punches Friend after Worst Audition Ever

A singing duo of best friends auditioned for The X Factor, but after getting criticism from the judges, this relationship may be over. The criticism wasn’t the only factor in splitting the girls up, as one of the friends punched the other in the face as they were exiting the stage.

A row had to be broken up between Abbey Johnson and Lisa Parker during the auditions, which were conducted in June and aired on Saturday. Abbey is the one who threw the punch at Lisa.

Before the performance, Lisa claimed that Abbey has the hots for Louis Walsh, one of the judges, who is old enough to be their grandad. She also asked guest judge Natalie Imbruglia who she was. Then she flipped off Simon Cowell, who said that their performance of Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey and That’s My Goal by Shayne Ward as the worst audition ever.

17-year-old Lisa told media she blames the nasty comments from Simon for causing the flared temper. She thinks that Abbey only hit her once, but a security guard grabbed her while another one pushed her against the wall so she couldn’t retaliate. If Simon wasn’t so nasty about their performance, she added, it probably wouldn’t have happened.

However, it seems that Simon’s comments were right on the money, as the audience reportedly booed the duo after their performance, and weren’t the reason for the punch either. Abbey said the incident was caused due to Lisa’s comment about her liking Louis, claiming that her friend lied. She added that Lisa would have never been allowed on the stage if it wasn’t for her.
