Snooki Rejects Marriage Proposal on Twitter
Snooki, the reality star known for her time on MTV series Jersey Shore and whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, has received a proposal from new boyfriend Jeff Miranda. The proposal was made on the new cover of Steppin’ Out magazine, with the headline ‘Will You Marry Me?’ across the top. However, it looks like someone has gotten a little confused in the relationship.
After she saw the proposal, 22-year-old Snooki took to Twitter, posting her rejection of the popped question. She said that she wants to set the record straight…she’s single and not getting married. Did she say single? Yes. So not only did she reject Jeff’s proposal on Twitter, but she has humiliated him by saying that they aren’t even dating. So where did the relationship get mixed up, because they were clearly not on the same page?
Well, Snooki and the 24-year-old have only been spending time together for about 2 weeks after meeting at a club, of course. Nevertheless, Jeff has recently talked to press about believing that he and Snooki really hit it off when they met. He said that she is really cute, is a cool person despite being drunk most of the time and is real sweet. He was so star struck with their kissing that he says their lips are made for each other. Despite being turned down, he is convinced she is perfect for him and will change her mind, as soon as she gets over the initial shock.
However, he sounds like a total whack job. Apparently Jeff has a restraining order against him, put in place by a court for ex-girlfriend Rebecca Hansen. Court documents state that he had threatened to burn her house down while she was sleeping, to cut her brakes and to kill her if she cheated on him or left him. They also report that he choked, punched, pulled hair and called her profane names at the turn of the year.
It’s a good thing that Snooki has found out about this. Let’s hope she steers clear!
