X Factor Contestants Trash Simon Cowell’s Marbella Villa
It’s been reported that drunken X Factor hopefuls have taken the potential of their future singing careers and thrown them away. This comes after they ruined the luxury villa rented by Simon Cowell, the main judge on the show.
The villa Cowell is staying in is located in Marbella, has 20 bedrooms and costs him £15,000 per day. This is where he has chosen to mentor his category of hopefuls for this year’s show. However, problems started when the contestants raided his bar and drank all of his Japanese beer and champagne on Sunday night. Afterward, they went swimming in the sea and tracked sand and sea water inside while they stumbled over antique and designer furniture and wrecked a £5,000 Persian rug.
The music mogul is said to have been completely furious (who wouldn’t be?) when he discovered the thousands of pounds worth of damage the contestants caused. A source close to the show said that it was chaos. They were very excited and things went overboard, they added.
Cowell said that he was woken up in the early hours of the morning due to the partying. He noted that if the culprits win the show, they will have to pay the damages out of their first royalty cheque - to teach them a lesson.
Meanwhile, there may be one axed contestant getting a second chance. Cowell said that Shirlena Johnson may get to compete on the show after all. The hopeful was dropped from the contest after a medical report and the show doctor said her health was risk due to a possibility of not being able to handle the stress of the show.
