Simon Cowell Will Not Ban Prostitute from X Factor
Simon Cowell is refusing to cut X Factor hopeful Chloe Mafia from the contest after finding out that she is a £160 per hour vice girl. The main judge and music mogul says that the 20-year-old, who is known as Candy at work, shouldn’t be axed from the show just because of her profession, as anyone should be given the chance to compete.
Cowell explained that they can’t take people off the show because some people get upset over something they do. If a person applies to be on the show, it’s obvious that they want something better for themselves, he added.
Richard Holloway, the executive producer of X Factor, said that there’s no reason for Chloe to be axed. However, she will have to quit her job while appearing on the program, he added.
This issue has raised questions about if the program is exploiting those who are most vulnerable. Chloe is only 20 years old and has a 19-month-old daughter. Her occupation was exposed by a newspaper before the episode she appears in has even been aired. She was seen in a trailer promoting the show, telling the judges that she is a full-time yummy mummy.
So far, it seems that Chloe has made it to the second stage of the contest at least. Cowell says that he is still deciding on how to handle the issue, but it would be better for viewers to see her story is she moves on instead of censoring it. However, they are still editing the auditions and are looking at things individually, he added.
