Lucy Gordon from Spider Man 3 Found Dead
On Wednesday morning, Lucy Gordon, an actress in the film Spider Man 3, was found dead in her apartment in Paris. The actress was on only 28-years old, soon to be 29 only 2 days after her death. French police say that the death is nearly certainly a suicide, which was done by hanging herself, as there were no indications of anything other than that.
It was reported on Friday that Lucy had left two suicide notes in her apartment, which she shared with Jerome Almeras, her cinematographer boyfriend who also discovered her body, according to the Daily Mail. One of the notes was written to her parents and the other gave details for the disposal of her estate. A report from French Media said that Almeras ran to a shop nearby to get help after finding Lucy on Wednesday morning.
Richard Gordon, her father, said that a post-mortem showed that she died from the hanging, with no other marks found on her. Her father has said that there is no question of foul play in his daughter’s death.
Police have been doing there investigation of the incident, as they should. They have questioned Almeras in regard to the death. The couple had been working together on the movie Cineman during the time that she committed suicide, and they have also been reported to have had an argument the day that she died.
Aside from family and her boyfriend being distraught over their loss, her agent and the rest of her team are devastated and baffled by her death. There also haven’t been any known motives reported, except that Lucy was badly affected by a friend’s recent suicide in England, according to a close friend.
