A shock for Bangkok police as actor David Carradine was found dead in his hotel room. The Hollywood star was discovered naked in the closet of a luxurious Bangkok hotel with cords wrapped around his neck and genitals.

Carradine, 72, is best known for his role in the 1970s ‘Kung Fu’ television series, although he has starred in countless movies since then.

It is believed that Carradine’s death may have been part of a sex game that went wrong, rather than suicide or murder. Police admit that they are unsure at the moment whether he died of heart failure of asphyxiation, but have no reason to suspect foul play.

However, those who knew David Carradine personally seem certain that he did not commit suicide. “All we can say is, we know David would never have committed suicide,” Tiffany Smith, a spokeswoman for Carradine’s agents Binder and Associates told the press. “We’re just waiting for them to finish the investigation and find out what really happened. He really appreciated everything life has to give . . . and that’s not something David would ever do to himself.”

Carradine was in Bangkok to take part in the movie “Stretch.” he recently played the key villain in ‘Kill Bill’ and plays the part of Poon Dong in the upcoming ‘Crank: High Voltage’.
