Vodafone to sell iPhone in 10 new countries

Vodafone has successfully secured its first deal with Apple to sell the iPhone in 10 countries.

Vodafone, which is Britain’s biggest mobile phone operator, last year lost out to O2 to sell the iPhone in the UK, will now have the distribution rights to sell the iPhone in countries including Australia, South Africa, Italy and India.

Apple have been pleased with sales of the iPhone which total 4 million in 2007. They will launch the third generation I Phone later this year which will have improved internet speeds.
