‘Harry Potter’s’ Emma Watson Plans Schooling at Brown University
Emma Watson has tried to keep her choice of a college quiet, but her co-stars haven’t been trying quite as hard. Daniel Radcliffe revealed to the Guardian last week that Watson is planning to attend Brown University.
Now that her choice has been unveiled, Emma is ready to talk about her plans to attend the university in the States. She has told Paste magazine that she has a place there to read literature. She’s not trying to hide, she explained, but she really likes to study and read. If she isn’t working on ‘Harry Potter’, she added, then her greatest relaxation is to get comfortable with a book.
Emma has also admitted that hiding her plans isn’t really an option with such a large ‘Harry Potter’ following of fans. She says that it’s inevitable, but she hopes that soon she will be known as ‘Emma Watson, the student from the UK’ instead of ‘Emma Watson, who starred in ‘Harry Potter”.
Although Emma will be busy with school, she says that there are still possibilities of her doing films over the next 4 years. She says that there are end of term breaks where she could do something if she is asked. Emma also said that she liked the idea of studying and acting, but there has been some confusion about her doing both among the media, which she says has been ill informed. She added that she is also interested in fashion and modeling.
In the interview with the mag, she also said that she is grateful for her experience on ‘Harry Potter’, even though she had to grow up faster than most other kids. She says that she has essentially been working since she was 10, but she is still only 19 and wants to do what other 19-year-olds do for a few months.
