‘The Bachelorette’ Moving to Chicago with Fiance
Jillian Harris, ‘The Bachelorette’, is packing her bags so that she can move to Chicago with Ed Swiderski, her new fiance. On the reuniting episode that aired Tuesday night, ‘After the Final Rose’, the reality television star unveiled the move and said that she will say goodbye to Canada on September 1.
Harris, a 29-year-old interior designer, also admitted that she is very much in love and ready to get married. She says that she thinks they are such a great team, and whatever works for them, works for them. Swiderski also added that they are certainly planning to get married within the next year to year-and-a-half.
After talking about the plans on ‘Good Morning America’ Wednesday morning as well, the show took some questions from the viewers. One little fan asked Harris why she kisses so many guys. Her response was that she thinks she only wanted to kiss four or five guys, but it ended up being many more. Harris added that ‘Unless you’re ‘The Bachelorette’, you shouldn’t kiss that many guys on one date or in one week.’
However, there has been some question about the new couple moving in together so soon, as the show doesn’t have a very good record of bringing relationships together for the long-haul. Harris said to TVGuide.com that they are madly in love, love being together, and their relationship is easier when they’re together. Living together is the most simple answer, she added, and they are very excited to do it.
Harris also said that both of them are young, entrepreneurial and career driven types of people, and she has learned how hard that can be on relationships in the past. It’s all about finding a balance, and Ed is doing a great job with that so far, she added.
