‘The Ugly Truth’ Premieres in Britain
On Tuesday was the premiere for ‘The Ugly Truth’ in London, and both of the stars, Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler, were there. The film was directed by Aussie Robert Luketic, whose other hit films include: ‘Legally Blonde’, ‘Monster-in-Law’, ‘21′, and ‘Date With Tad Hamilton!’.
Katherine arrived at the premiere in a glow with Butler. She wore an emerald one-shouldered frock by Naeem Khan. She also reunited with Luketic for the film ‘Five Killer’, which finished shooting last month. During the filming, Luketic Tweeted about the set to give fans and movie buffs first-hand accounts of behind the scenes.
Butler arrived at the premiere looking as good as ever also and even admitted that he likes the attention he gets by being famous. He spoke at the premiere to fans, saying that he never thought he could make that noise by only turning his head. He says that it’s amazing, and he gets into it - really appreciating it and lapping it up. Butler also said that it isn’t something he looks for when he’s between premieres, as he loves to live his own life and do his own thing. However, when he goes to a premiere, he really notices that what he does affects people, he added.
Butler’s rise to fame came with the release of ‘300′, a historic epic film, and he says that his personal life remains unfazed by the press attention. He doesn’t care what they say, although he would rather them not make up stuff like they do, he said.
‘The Ugly Truth’ is set to hit theaters in Britain tomorrow, August 7.
