Winehouse staggers into the spotlight once more
It seems that singer Amy Winehouse will do just about anything to get her picture taken by the media. While famous for wearing skimpy and provocative clothes, it can’t be denied that she usually looks well put together and in control of her image.
The same could hardly be said for her outing this week however. Winehouse was snapped in London on Thursday as she staggered out of a taxi on the way to an emergency dentist appointment. While wearing one of her trademark leopard print and leather outfits, it couldn’t help but be noticed that the singer hadn’t taken quite as my care as usual.
Not only was the zipper on her black jeans undone but Winehouse had some very unusual marking on her nose, which appeared to have been drawn on.
As dermatologist for The London Dermatology Centre Dr Sunil Chopra commented in an interview: “These are definitely not freckles. The markings are linear and it appears as if she has drawn them on herself with make-up perhaps.”
Winehouse’s appearance has provoked speculation that she may be taking drugs again. Whatever the reason for her unusual appearance, the singer has once again made it into the media headlines.
