Lindsay Lohan ordered to appear before Beverly Hills court

Lindsay Lohan is never out of the tabloids for long. Between her heated love spats with Samantha Ronson and her alleged abuse of illegal substances, she can often been seen in the media for one negative thing or another. The latest in a long list of woes for Lindsay appears to be a court ordered appearance before the judge stemming from her DUI conviction two years ago in August 2007.

The troubled actress has been ordered to appear before the judge for a hearing on her probation terms. A court spokeswoman said that the actress will appear before the judge Friday, in order to ascertain Lindsay’s progress on two DUI cases.

The progress report will take a look at Lindsay’s behavior since her 2007 DUI charge which was the second DUI charge for the young actress. After being convicted in 2007 Lindsay was slapped with a three year probationary period, of which could be extended for another year at today’s meeting.

Lindsay is expected to appear before the Beverly Hills Court today, where the judge will look at Lindsay’s failure to complete mandatory out-patient rehab classes which were a court mandate as part of Lindsay’s probation. The centre where Lindsay was supposed to finish her classes contacted the court to inform them that Lindsay had not complied with probation by completing the course.

According to the rehab program, Lindsay had asked for six months off from classes in order to work out of the country. The centre contacted the courts, however, when Lindsay failed to get in touch with them at the close of the six month period.
