Sky and Virgin Media top dissatisfaction list
June 1, 2008
One in four customers of the big three UK providers of digital television - Sky, Virgin Media and Freeveiw - are unhappy with the service they receive. This is what a survey done by price comparison site uSwitch.com found.
The study found that almost three million households made the swap from analogue to digital last year.
Sky and Virgin Media’s pre-paid services got 59% approval for their customer support, according to the findings featured in the Daily Mail.
The poll questioned 12,000 customers.
Only 57% said Sky were best value for money but Sky did top overall with 76% approval rating for its services.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Steve Weller, of uSwitch.com said “Sky and Virgin will have quite a challenge on their hard earned cash while expecting them to accept the current level of customer services.”
