Paul Scholes Wary of Liverpool comeback at Sunday’s match
Paul Scholes, midfielder for Manchester United, said that he is wary of Liverpool rebounding on Sunday’s match scheduled to be played at Anfield. Although, Liverpool has lost the last four games they have played, they will mostly likely be keen to make a comeback when they play United at home.
Scholes said to United’s fanclub site that Liverpool is clearly going through a rough patch, but that they will consider this upcoming game a chance to turn things around. He even stated that Sunday’s game will be the perfect opportunity for them to bounce back.
Scholes also told the website that he does not think that the Reds’ current form is going to influence the game’s final results. Although, he made it clear that United will be able to play at Anfield and possibly gain the three points needed from their notorious rivals.
United vs Liverpool is always a big showdown, and the game, to be played in front of Liverpool’s fans, will prove to be difficult for both sides. Liverpool coming out of four losses, and United playing away from home on Liverpool’s turf.
