19-year-old arrested in Lindsay Lohan burglary case
After a string of burglaries in the Hollywood Hills, the true mastermind behind the robberies of homes such as Lindsay Lohan and Audrina Patridge has been identified. According to police officials, 19-year-old Rachel Lee is suspected of conspiring to steal clothing, cash, jewelry, and other personal items from various celebrities who reside in the area.
Prior to taking Rachel Lee in to custody, police had already fingered Nick Prugo has a suspect in the robberies, arresting him earlier last week. Now authorities are saying that Rachel Lee is the ring leader for the thieving group which also involved Nick Prugo.
The 19-year-old was arrested after police found a bag of marijuana, two laptops, a Korean passport, and over two hundred $100 bills at the girl’s father’s Las Vegas residence. Also at the house were items which have been identified as belonging to Rachel Bilson, Lindsay Lohan, and nude photographs possibly containing Paris Hilton.
So far, Ms. Lee has denied having anything to do with the recent thefts, and is being detained in a jail in Nevada until further investigations can be made. The teenager is suspected of having robbed Lindsay Lohan’s home and Audrina Patridges, and plotting to commit several more thefts in the Hollywood Hills area.
