Kelly Brook Says Ant and Dec Destroyed her TV career
Kelly Brook took to the airwaves yesterday to publicly blast Ant and Dec, claiming that the pair ruined her career on television by axing her from Britain’s Got Talent. The model went on to blast the famous duo as being self absorbed and using their influence to unfairly have her fired from the show.
In their recent autobiography Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly made remarks that the TV star, on her first day on the show, had asked the two what they did on set. But Kelly Brook, 29, is claiming the pair misunderstood her.
The former judge was fired from the show and lost her £200,000 paycheck on the ITV1 show back in January. Ms. Brook claimed that the folks at ITV told the model that Ant and Dec did not like her and subsequently she was asked to leave the show.
She claims that their first interaction was not the same as she recalled it as they had record it in their book. Ms. Brook continued to blast the two saying that their egos got in the way of them seeing what had actually happened, and that they had unfairly used their influence to ruin her career.
She added that the other judges on the show had no idea what happened, and that Cowell was not around as he was in America filming American Idol. Ultimately, Ms. Brook was fired, and the ITV and show producers decided to proceed without a fourth judge.
