Cheryl Cole Dress Jibes
Cheryl Cole got a little carried away and lost her temper over jibes made about her choice of dress for the “X Factor” show on Saturday night. She allegedly lashed out and made a hit on Simon Cowell for his comment on live television.
While on the air live, Simon warned the fellow judge and Girls Aloud singer that he could clearly see her assets. Reports followed this weekend that Cheryl took a swipe at him during a commercial break, and asked him why he had to do that. She was mortified that he did it on camera.
A source said that Cheryl tried to keep her composure, but she was just too mad at Simon for doing that on the air. She didn’t see why he had to mention it on the air and couldn’t have waited to discreetly say something to her during an advertising break like she did for him.
However, her misery didn’t just stop there. While Cheryl took part in a live call after the Sunday night elimination on the “Xtra Factor”, viewers rang in to criticize her outfit choice.
The 26-year-old has been very successful with the debut of her solo single and album, ruling the top of the charts with both at the same time. It’s silly that a dress would cause this much controversy. Frankly, the fan-busk dress may have been a little over-the-top for the show, but it wasn’t a horrible choice.
“X Factor” is about the talent and creativity of the contestants - not what the judges are wearing. And the battle going on with the judges’ outfits really is ridiculous when you think of it this way. She still shouldn’t have received such insulting remarks on live television though.
