2 More Couples Eliminated from Dancing with the Stars

In “Dancing with the Stars” week 7, two more couples were eliminated from the competition, just like last week. The stars in the bottom three were Mark DaCascos, Michael Irvin and Aaron Carter and their partners. The couple with the lowest combined score was automatically eliminated, while the the other two competed to stay.

Michael Irving and his partner Anna Demidova turned out to have the lowest score, so they were made to leave the reality dance competition show. When leaving the show he said that it was great to see the audience stand in appreciation for all his hard work.

This left Mark DaCascos and partner Lacey Swimmer to compete in a dance-off to stay in the competition against Aaron Carter and partner Karina Smirnoff. The judges would choose who they were more impressed by as the couple to stay.

Mark decided to go with the Cha Cha Cha, for which he did a lot of flips and jumps, improving on his performance from the night before. Aaron went with the Jive, which was a good choice since he performed the Jive the night before and received the highest individual score for the evening.

Although Mark improved on his performance, the judges felt that Aaron improved on his as well. This meant that Mark left the competition, and Aaron will return next week for another round. Mark’s parting words were that competing on the show was one of the best experiences of his life, and it was a lot harder than it looks.
