Confused ex cannot work out why lover fell for Bernie Ecclestone
A Brazilian doctor has said that he feels like he has been stabbed in the back by a girlfriend who has left him for Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone. Dr. Fernando Nascimento, a thirty-five-year-old pediatrician from Sao Paulo said that he was totally surprised when he read in the newspapers that his long term girlfriend had left him for the seventy-nine-year-old. Fabiana Flosi allegedly started the affair with Mr. Ecclestone after meeting him through her work as a marketing executive for sports events and lawyer at the Brazilian Grand Prix.
Dr. Nascimento cannot understand why Ms. Flosi has left him and claims that they had a good relationship right up until she told him she would be leaving Sao Paolo to go to London for a job. He said that the only time they would argue would be over the amount of time Ms. Flosi was spending at various Grand Prix events. He says that with hindsight he thinks he saw a coldness in his girlfriend after she returned home from the Turkish Grand Prix. It was at this event that Mr. Ecclestone admits he started to get close to Ms. Flosi. Ms. Flosi then attended the final race of the season with Mr. Ecclestone in Abu Dhabi before returning with him to London.
Bernie Ecclestone is no stranger to heartache and was asked for a divorce last year by his wife Slavica. She said that she could no longer cope with his workaholism and it is believed she will take away with her something like £1 billion as part of the settlement.
