Britney Spears Fans Walk Out of Concert over Alleged Lip-Synching
Controversy has been sparked around Britney Spears again, but this time it seems a little extreme on the fans’ part. Reports have been flooding headlines that her fans walked out of one of her Circus tour concerts in Australia. This has rendered the “comeback queen” very upset.
Fans started to demand their money back after Britney was accused of lip-synching during part of her two-hour show in Perth. The concertgoers claim that her dancing wasn’t enough to make up for her not singing. Some members of the audience even paid thousands for the tickets, with one reportedly saying that they believed the lip-synching was something she had to do since her dancing prevented was so hard, but they claim that her movements were stiff, sloppy and out of time.
Britney is known for lip-synching, and anyone who plans to go to one of her concerts should already know this. She has been under fire for doing this before, when she mimed “Womanizer” during “X Factor”. Publicity for the tour even suggested that she would resort to this again, and politicians in Australia called for laws to force music promoters to say if a concert would be live or lip-synched. Some have even suggested giving concertgoers a warning on their ticket.
It makes since that fans would be upset over a performer, like Lady Gaga, lip-synching during a concert. But this is Britney Spears we’re talking about! If anyone is a real fan of hers, they should already know that this is what will happen when they go to her concerts. However, if her dancing was really that sloppy and out of time like reports claim….shame on her. We all know she can do better than that!
