H&M Stores Expected Crowds Today as Jimmy Choo line Launches
H&M is bracing for hords of fashion conscious budget shoppers to descend on their stores in UK and Ireland this week. The high-street chain will now be offering Jimmy Choo shoes at their famous low prices. The designer shoes have come on sale at 19 of H&M’s locations across the UK and some in Ireland.
Jimmy Choo, a favorite of fashionistas all over the globe, are usually in the price range of well over £200, with some costing as much as £800. The British-made label will be offering a special collection designed for H&M stores, which is also set to include other items like clothing, hand bags, and, incorporate a men’s shoe line.
Some of the new styles for the less expensive shoe line will include lattice-style heels and zebra-print sandals. Prices for the budget Jimmy Choos will range from £69.99 for sandals up to £179.99 for larger ticket items such as leather boots.
This will not mark the first occasion that H&M has teamed up with high end names in fashion to offer affordable, yet posh items. H&M has also worked with Karl Lagerfeld, Mathew Williamson, and Stella McCartney. Celebrities were invited to a preview of the new line at an early showcase in the company’s store on Regent Street last Friday night in central London.
A spokesperson for the company said that stores across the UK are expected to be very crowded beginning early on Saturday morning. Store’s which will be offering the new line include the Bullring Centre in Birmingham, Manchester’s Trafford Centre, Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow, and Bluewater along with nine other retail shops in London.
